Four-year-old boy found dead in lake after going missing in Medak

A four-year-old boy went missing from his home in Medak district on Friday and was found dead in a lake near Pothareddypally village the next morning. Police suspect foul play, alleging that unidentified persons may have killed the child and dumped his body.

Medak: A four-year-old boy, who went missing from his house on Friday, was found dead in a lake near his village at Pothareddypally in Kulcharam mandal on Saturday morning. The child was identified as Sara Bittu (4), son of Venkatesh.

Police suspected that unidentified persons might have killed the boy and dumped the body in the lake. The incident left the entire village in shock.

Villagers gathered at the lake as locals recovered the body in the presence of police and other department officials.

The police registered a case and investigation is underway. The body was shifted to the government hospital in Medak for postmortem examination.
