Free hypertension, obesity checkup camp held in Karimnagar

A free blood pressure and obesity BMI screening camp was organised in Boyawada, Karimnagar, on World Hypertension Day. Conducted by Dr D Raghuraman in association with Corona Remedies Limited, the camp screened 97 people and identified several hypertension and obesity cases

Karimnagar: On the occasion of World Hypertension Day, a free blood pressure and obesity BMI check-up camp was organised in Boyawada here on Sunday.

Senior physician Dr D Raghuraman, in association with Corona Remedies Limited, Ahmedabad, conducted the medical camp. This year’s theme is “Controlling Hypertension Together: Check your Blood Pressure Regularly, Defeat the Silent Killer”.

A total of 97 people underwent health check-ups. Of them, 12 were found to have high blood pressure and seven were identified as obesity cases.
