Sustainable Fashion: From festive fashion and jewellery to sustainable labels and young entrepreneurs, Hyderabad has a busy line-up of exhibitions this September. With designers, independent brands and creative sellers bringing their latest collections to the city, these upcoming pop-ups offer plenty to browse, shop and discover. Here are some exhibitions to look out for this month.
Krsnaia
Krsnaia is bringing together an eclectic mix of fashion, jewellery and lifestyle labels for its upcoming exhibition on September 12 at Taj Deccan. Making its debut, the showcase will feature a mix of prêt, ethnic and contemporary wear, along with jewellery and collections from emerging designers.
The exhibition will bring several labels together under one roof, offering shoppers an opportunity to discover newer names alongside established collections. Morshe Atelier, Pink Coconut, Saje and Bling Empire are among the brands participating in the showcase.
Pandora – Season 28
With the festive season approaching, Pandora is bringing its 28th edition with The Pataka Edit on September 12 at Park Hyatt. The exhibition is positioned as a festive shopping destination, bringing together collections from several Indian luxury designers.
The showcase will feature an extensive range of festive fashion, with brands including Amit Aggarwal, Anushree Reddy, Ranna Gill and Gazal Gupta, among others. Shoppers can also look forward to collections being offered at discounts of up to 70 per cent.
Pink Lemonade – Kidpreneur Konnect
Pink Lemonade is bringing back its Kidpreneur Konnect for its second edition on September 20 at the Nook Studios. Unlike a conventional shopping exhibition, this event puts young entrepreneurs in the spotlight, giving children between 4 and 14 years an opportunity to present and sell their own creations.
The showcase will feature young makers and budding entrepreneurs across different categories, with names such as Debut, Bubble Buddies and Racing Layers participating in the event. It offers children a chance to experience the process of creating, presenting and selling their work in a real-world setting.
Pili Taxi
Sustainable fashion takes centre stage at Pili Taxi, a two-day exhibition scheduled for September 11 and 12. The showcase at CCT Spaces in Banjara Hills will bring together fashion and lifestyle labels that focus on more conscious approaches to design and production.
Visitors can browse collections from brands including Threads Per Inch, Label Bahi and Kapardara India, among others. With independent labels and sustainable brands coming together, the exhibition offers an opportunity to explore alternatives to conventional fashion while discovering homegrown names.
