Future City to transform Hyderabad: Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka unveils bold vision

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that Hyderabad was developing into a promising destination for global investments due to its climate, talent pool, connectivity, and infrastructure.

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka termed the proposed Future City as a transformative initiative that will redefine Hyderabad’s urban and economic landscape. He outlined the government’s vision to develop industrial clusters between the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and Outer Ring Road (ORR).

Speaking at the inauguration of the new conference hall at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) here on Tuesday, Bhatti Vikramarka said the Musi River Rejuvenation and RRR projects will be key enablers, pushing Hyderabad’s growth beyond imagination.

“Plans are underway to promote IT, pharma, and housing clusters, with land allocations proposed to be made to progressive entrepreneurs,” he said.

Calling for a collaborative approach between industry, civil society and the government for development of Telangana, he assured the industrial community that the Congress government was people-centric and pro-investment. He assured open access for entrepreneurs to the government and promised to consider a one-time settlement scheme for clearance of pending industrial power bills.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that Hyderabad was developing into a promising destination for global investments due to its climate, talent pool, connectivity, and infrastructure. He assured that the government was working toward ensuring uninterrupted power supply and green energy access to industries.

FTCCI president Suresh Kumar, senior vice president Ravi Kumar, vice president Maheshwari, and other dignitaries also spoke.
