Hyderabad: The Gachibowli police posted a picket at Vattinagulapally village where a group of people allegedly attempted to encroach upon a land parcel two days ago.
The Gachibowli police had registered a case against two groups of individuals and also cited the company owned by the son of a high-profile politician linked to the ruling party as an accused in the case. The issue created ripples in political circles after it came to light on Tuesday.
The dispute pertains to four acres of land, which one group led by Pallavi Shah claims belongs to them, while the other group led by Avinav Shah claims ownership.
Both groups had made complaints against each other and two FIRs were registered at the Gachibowli police station.
The police seized five JCBs and three DCM vehicles from the site following the trouble. A police picket is posted at the spot to prevent further disturbances.
The Gachibowli police are, however, tight-lipped about the investigation into the case.
