Hyderabad: Eight persons who were gambling were caught by the Abid Road police on Thursday. The police seized Rs 73,860, mobile phones and other articles from them.

Acting on a tip off, the police raided Santosh Dhaba at Abids and found the eight persons gambling. “Satya Prakash of Begum Bazaar was organising the gambling sessions and invited the others for the game. He took commission from the participants,” said the police.
