Devotees, who woke up to see the pandal engulfed in fire around midnight, doused the blaze by pouring buckets and pots of water

Ganesh pandal set on fire in Telangana’s Siddipet; two in custody
Ganesh pandal burnt down by some unidentified miscreants at Dalit Colony, Dasarlapally village in Mulug mandal of Siddipet district on Saturday late night.

Siddipet: Unidentified miscreants set a Ganesh pandal on fire at a Dalit colony in Dasarlapally village of Mulug mandal on Saturday night.

Devotees woke up to see the pandal engulfed in fire around midnight. They doused the blaze by pouring buckets and pots of water.


However, a major part of the pandal and the idol was gutted.

Following a complaint, police reached the village and started an investigation.

The police have reportedly taken a couple of people into custody.
