Hyderabad: The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, west zone, on Saturday apprehended a person for possession of ganja and trying to sell it near a hotel in Somajiguda. The police seized 7 kg of ganja, one Honda Activa bike and a cell phone from his possession.
According to the police, the suspect Manohar Singh was buying the narcotic substance from a supplier Srinu, from Visakhapatnam, for Rs 5,000 per 2 kg and sold it in Hyderabad for Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000. The suspect along with the seized material was handed over to Panjagutta police for further investigation.
The arrest was made under the supervision of P Radha Kishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, P Rajesh, Inspector of Police, West Zone Task Force Team along with the assistance of SI N Ranjith Kumar, P Mallikarjun, Md Muzaffar Ali, Sheik Kaviuddin.
