Gas stoves meant for voter inducement seized in Shamshabad
Shamshabad police on Saturday seized gas stoves allegedly being transported for distribution to voters ahead of local body elections. The stoves were found in a car driven by a Chowderguda resident, and a case has been registered while the material was confiscated.

Hyderabad: The Shamshabad police seized gas stoves meant to be distributed among voters in run up to local body elections at Shamshabad on Saturday evening.
The man, Manchalam Mohan Rao, (51) a resident of Chowderguda village in Shamshabad was carrying the gas stoves in a car when on information the police checked the vehicle and seized the stoves.
According to the police, Mohan Rao, was carrying the gas stoves to be distributed among the villagers in view of elections. A case is registered and the property seized.
