GHMC announces deadlines for trade licence renewal
GHMC has issued fresh orders for obtaining and renewing trade licences for 2026. Applications must be submitted by December 1, 2025, with penalties of 25 per cent and 50 per cent applicable for late submissions. Traders and establishments can apply online via the GHMC website or at Mee Seva centres.

Hyderabad: The GHMC on Wednesday issued orders on obtaining new trade licences and for the renewal of existing trade licences. The licence period issued during the last year was valid from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
As such, the application for new or renewal of licences for January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, must be submitted by December 1, 2025, the GHMC said in an official release.
No penalty will be imposed on applications submitted on or before December 20, 2025. A 25 percent penalty will be imposed on applications submitted on or before February 19, 2026, and a 50 percent penalty will be imposed on applications after February 20, 2026, said the release.
Traders, shops, or establishments can apply online by visiting the GHMC website: https://www.ghmc.gov.in/ or at the nearest Mee Seva. They can also renew the existing trade licence at any citizen service centre available in all GHMC circles, the GHMC Head Office, or Mee Seva by December 20, 2025.
