The ATCS project, implemented in collaboration with the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda Police Commissionerate and Arcadis IBI Group, covers 280 traffic intersections and 94 pelican signals across key corridors in the city.

Leveraging real-time traffic detection and centralized dynamic signal control, the system has already led to:15–20% increase in average travel speed on key corridors.

The system uses CDAC’s CoSiCoSt technology, with features such as vehicle-actuated control, coordinated signal synchronization, solar power integration, and central monitoring, said the release.
