GHMC continues OTS Scheme with 90 percent interest waiver for property tax defaulters
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced the continuation of its One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme for 2025–26, offering major relief to property tax defaulters. The initiative is aimed at easing financial burdens and encouraging timely clearance of property tax arrears.

Hyderabad: The GHMC on Thursday announced the continuation of its One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme 2025–26, offering relief to property tax defaulters by providing a 90 per cent waiver on accumulated interest on arrears.
Under the scheme, property owners can clear long-pending dues by paying the entire principal tax amount along with 10 per cent of the accrued interest in a single payment. The remaining 90 per cent of the interest will be waived, according to an official release.
Payments under the OTS scheme can be made through the MyGHMC mobile application, MeeSeva centres, GHMC Citizen Service Centres (CSCs) as well as other online payment platforms, it said.
