Fireman Mohammed Shabbir honoured with Telangana Shourya Pathakam
The Telangana government has honoured Mohammed Shabbir, leading fireman of Chandrayangutta fire station, with the Telangana Shourya Pathakam for his bravery in rescuing 50 inmates from a house fire at Mailardevpalli on May 18 last year.

Hyderabad: The Telangana government honoured Mohammed Shabbir, leading fireman of Chandrayangutta fire station, with Telangana Shourya Pathakam for his exemplary courage and skills in rescuing 50 inmates from a house that caught fire on May 18 last year at Mailardevpally.
Mohammed Shabbir responded to a severe residential fire incident at Mailardevpally.
“Displaying exceptional courage and presence of mind, he bravely entered the fire-affected premises amidst intense flames and dense smoke and rescued 50 inmates. His swift action and extraordinary bravery played a crucial role in saving precious lives,” a press release issued by the Telangana Fire Department stated.
The award was presented to the recipient by District Fire Officer Hyderabad, T Venkanna.
