Hyderabad: As part of its efforts to clear legacy waste accumulated across the city, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has launched a 12-day special monsoon sanitation drive till June 25.

The clearance will be taken up along roadsides, nalas, lake margins, footpaths, parks and other locations across the Corporation limits.
“A total of 150 wards will be covered in five phases of 30 wards each between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm. Phase 1 is scheduled from June 14 to June 16, Phase 2 from June 17 to June 18, Phase 3 from June 19 to June 20, Phase 4 from June 22 to June 23, and Phase 5 from June 24 to June 25,” it said.
The public can alert GHMC about garbage points through the Cure1 app, the GHMC Call Centre at 040-21111111, WhatsApp number 8125966586, or @GHMCOnline on social media, the statement said.
