Hyderabad: The GHMC has unveiled the Estate Management System (EMS), a digital platform designed to enhance the management of all municipal lease properties within its jurisdiction, including municipal markets, shopping complexes, model markets, and lease lands.
The application was officially launched during the recent GHMC Standing Committee meeting.
With the introduction of EMS, citizens can now pay lease amounts and rents directly to GHMC through the online payment facility. An official statement issued on Friday in Hyderabad stated, “This online initiative seeks to promote greater transparency, accountability, and efficiency within the system, while minimising the need for manual intervention.”
“Additionally, the EMS will offer real-time Demand, Collection, and Balance (DCB) updates, enabling monitoring at both field and departmental levels. The initiative is anticipated to strengthen municipal asset management and provide citizens with a seamless digital payment experience,” it said.
