GHMC Polls: Hyderabad Commissioner warns against rumours

The police have deployed pickets at all hyper sensitive and sensitive areas of the city to prevent any trouble

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has asked people not to believe in rumours and appealed to media houses to check the veracity of information before sharing it on public platforms.

“Please don’ t spread any unconfirmed or sensational news,” he said.

The Commissioner also said senior officers were present at all the counting centres where the process is going on.

“All arrangements are made and peaceful counting of votes is taking place,” he said, requesting people to adhere to prohibitory orders enforced around the counting centres.
