Hyderabad: Even as counting is progressing in 30 centres across the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits, postal ballot tallies are coming in.
Among the 54 postal ballot votes in Mehdipatnam circle, BJP bagged 25 votes, TRS secured 11 while one was invalid. Eight were rejected while one vote was cast for NOTA.
As announced by the State Election Commission, postal ballots are being counted first and it will be followed by the conventional ballots. SEC has issued 1926 postal ballots this time for those attending election duties and others, including senior citizens aged over 80 years.
