GHMC Polls: Yousufguda set to go to TRS

Unconfirmed reports said the TRS candidate was maintaining a steady lead over the other contesting candidates

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) candidate Raj Kumar Patel is all set to win from the Yousufguda division.

Unconfirmed reports said the TRS candidate was maintaining a steady lead over the other contesting candidates. Yousufguda division recorded the lowest poll percentage of 33.99 per cent among all the 150 divisions in GHMC. Against the total votes of 60,193 in the division, 19859 votes were polled.

Right from the first round of counting, the the TRS candidate was said to be maintaining a clear lead.

Meanwhile, dismissing reports being shared on different social media over suspension of counting in Moula Ali division, officials said this was incorrect news and declared that counting was continuing as per the procedure.

Reports were being shared on social media that counting of votes was suspended in the division saying more number of votes were found in the ballot box. However, officials said counting was being continued without any hindrance.
