GHMC rolls out QR code system for citizen grievances

The GHMC has introduced a QR code-based grievance redressal system across public spaces in six city zones. With 840 QR codes installed in malls, theatres, and function halls, citizens can now directly report issues and provide feedback to authorities.

Hyderabad: The GHMC has launched a QR code system to respond to public issues and provide solutions within a specific timeframe.

According to a press release on Friday, approximately 840 QR codes have been installed in shopping malls, theatres, function halls, and other public utility places within the Shamshabad, Rajendranagar, Charminar, Khairatabad, Golconda, and Secunderabad zones.

Through these QR codes, citizens can directly communicate their issues, feedback, and suggestions to the relevant authorities. The complaints received would be promptly reviewed and actions taken to resolve them within the stipulated time, it said.

Officials said the innovative programme aim to provide more transparent services to the public and enhance citizen participation and urged them to take advantage of this opportunity to immediately register their issues and obtain resolutions.
