IPS reshuffle: B. Sumathi named Malkajgiri Commissioner
The Telangana government has reshuffled seven IPS officers, appointing B. Sumathi as the new Malkajgiri Police Commissioner and Tarun Joshi as the Commissioner of Cyberabad.

Hyderabad: B.Sumathi is the new Malkajgiri Police Commissioner while Tarun Joshi has been posted as the new Commissioner of Future City.
The State government on Friday issued orders reshuffling the postings of seven IPS officers. As per the orders, B.Sumathi, IGP, SIB, Intelligence has been transferred and posted as Malkajgiri Commissioner replacing Avinash Mohanthy who has been posted as DCA Director General and Director, Prohibition & Excise.
Shikha Goel, Director General (Vigilance & Enforcement) has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Home Department. She will also continue to hold full additional charge (FAC) of the posts of Director, Telangana Cybersecurity Bureau and Director, Telangana Forensic Science Laboratory.
Devender Singh Chauhan, Additional Director General (Personnel) is transferred and posted as Director General (Vigilance & Enforcement) while Shahnawaz Qasim, Director General, DCA is transferred and posted as IGP Multi Zone–II Telangana, Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Tarun Joshi, Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Future City in place of Sudheer Babu who is superannuating on April 30. Kartikeya, Inspector General of Police, Intelligence, has been placed in full additional charge of the post of IGP, SIB, Intelligence, till further orders.
