Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)’s Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EV&DM) sealed four commercial establishments in the city for flouting the advertisement policy norms, on Tuesday. Two hospitals, an electronic appliance showroom and an automobile showroom were sealed following non payments of the penalties imposed on them by the EV&DM.
Action was initiated on the establishments as they were flouting the advertisement policy of the GHMC and the penalties imposed ranged from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
As per the advertisement policy, advertisements elements above 15 feet from ground level are illegal and advertisements with flashing lights or non-static illumination will be permitted only after clearance from the authorities.
