Hyderabad: A statistical officer at GHMC has been charged for alleged inappropriate behaviour and misconduct with a woman computer operator in the GHMC Charminar Zonal office.
The women computer operator had reported the issue to Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi on Monday, who immediately instructed Additional Commissioner (Sanitation) Santosh Badavath to take action against the official and transfer him to his parent department, Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare.
Mayor also expressed her dissatisfaction over the Chief Medical Officer of Health for not responding immediately to the complaint. Members of the GHMC’s women’s protection cell were also directed to work efficiently.
