GHMC to begin KBR Park Package-II flyover works soon

The GHMC will begin construction of flyovers and underpasses under KBR Park Package-II works next week, covering four key junctions. Officials inspected the sites under the H-CITI initiative ahead of grounding the Rs 510-crore project

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is set to start construction of flyovers and underpasses under package 2 works at KBR Park in February third week.

On Friday, Chief Engineer (Maintenance & Project) Sahadev Ratnakar inspected works proposed at surroundings of KBR Park under H-CITI, along with engineering officials.


As per an official press release, the H-CITI officials inspected KBR package works that are to be started at Road no 12, Banjara Hills, covering Agrasen Junction and Kalinga Junction, along with PMC consultant and the agency concerned. The KBR Package 2 works are planned to be grounded next week.

KBR package I includes construction of flyovers and underpasses at two junctions, Jubilee Hills checkpost and KBR entrance junction, along with an underpass at Mugdha Junction. The estimated cost of the project is 580 crore.

KBR package II includes construction of flyovers and underpasses at four juncions- -Road no. 45 Junction, Film Nagar junction, Maharaja Agrasen junction and Cancer Hospital junction—at the KBR Park. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 510 crore, it said.
