GHMC to cover missed Census 2027 households through door-to-door verification
Households that missed the online self-enumeration process for Census 2027 can still register through enumerators during ongoing door-to-door verification visits. GHMC officials said the process will continue until June 9 to ensure no household is left out of the census exercise.

Hyderabad: Households that could not participate in the online self-enumeration for the 2027 Census can do the same through enumerators when they come for a door-to-door verification.
According to the officials, the enumerators would visit every house to record details and cover the missed households. They will facilitate self-enumeration for households that were missed, ensuring their details are recorded at the time of door-to-door visiting.
The enumerators will enquire with the households that missed out on self-enumeration exercise online, said Shamshabad zonal commissioner of GHMC, K Chandrakala. The enumeration process will be closed on June 9, she said, while appearing that the opportunity be utilised.
As per schedule announced, the online window for self-enumeration for Census-2027 was opened from April 26 and closed on May 10. At the time, households completed online self-enumeration by answering 33 questions. Currently, the enumerators are visiting door-to-door and checking the household credentials.
