Medak: Medak Collector Rahul Raj has asked officials, elected representatives and other citizens, who would meet him on January 1 to greet him, not to bring bouquets, sweets or dry fruits.

Instead, he requested them to present notebooks, pens and pencils so that he could distribute them to students of government schools across the district.

In a press statement on Tuesday, he extended New Year greeting to all citizens of the district.
