Khammam: Police have reportedly traced a minor girl, who went missing from her residence at Remidicherla in Yerrupalem mandal in the district in December last.
According to sources, the girl is learnt to have been found in a north Indian State. The accused, a priest who was involved in the missing of the girl, is in police custody. The police are expected to produce him before the media on Wednesday.
It might be noted that the 16-year-old girl went missing when her parents went to Mangalagiri in AP to visit a temple. Her mother Vellanki Rani lodged a missing complaint with the local police who took up the investigation and were able to solve the case after three and half months.
