Gitanjali Devashray pre-primary organised a fancy dress competition for the students of class PP1 on a virtual platform. The competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in children by giving them an opportunity to speak and overcome their stage fear.
Students displayed their talent on the themes given to them such as vegetables, fruits and flowers with great zeal and enthusiasm also learnt the concepts. They were dressed up in their colourful costumes and spoke few lines on the characters that they depicted.
Few costumes appreciated by one were coconut, strawberry, banana, kiwi, custard apple hibiscus, gerbera, chrysanthemum, rose, lotus, radish, corn, broccoli, cabbage, carrot etc. The efforts and the hard work of the students were highly appreciated. Thus the competition proved to be a great learning experience and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
