Hyderabad: A delightful day with the grandparents was celebrated with fun and frolic by the tiny tots of PP1s at Gitanjali Devshala. It is rightly said ‘ A grandparent is a little bit parent, a little bit teacher and a little bit best friend”.
Their pleasure was apparent when they were welcomed to class to be alongside their grandchildren. They came colour coordinated with their grandchildren, entertained the audience by dancing, singing, drawing, reciting shlokas and showcasing their Ikebana skills.
Teachers on the occasion said that Grandparents’ Day celebrates the bond between children and grandparents and reminds us to uphold communication between different generations.
Many personal fables and words of wisdom were shared. The highlight of the occasion was when the little ones surprised their grandparents with special handmade greeting cards. The gesture and its response were heartwarming. It was a memorable and emotional day, not likely to be forgotten anytime soon by the tiny tots and their grandparents.
