Gitanjali Devshala hosted the Inter-Gitanjali throwball and basketball championships for girls and boys U/15. The initiative brought students together on the playing field once again and allowed them to assess their skills as athletes.
The Inter-Gitanjali Girls Throwball Competition was organised on November 11. The teams participating were Gitanjali Devshala, Gitanjali Devashray and Gitanjali Senior School. Gitanjali Devshala girls emerged as the winners of the competition by displaying commendable teamwork and coordination. Associate Director, Gitanjali Group of Schools Madhvi Chandra and school principal graced the occasion and presented the winners with the trophy.
The Inter-Gitanjali Boys Basketball Competition was held on November 12. Devshala boys were declared the ultimate winners of the competition as they scored the most number of baskets. Managing Director, Gitanjali Group of Schools, Jai Karan awarded the trophy to the winners.
The students were overjoyed and extremely grateful that they got the opportunity to represent their school. Both the events conducted provided new enthusiasm to the students’ school life. Only with the cooperation and support from numerous people all over the schools, was this event able to be a huge success.
