Gitanjali Primary School: Swimming prodigy’s quest for Olympics gold

Advaith won three bronze medals in 50 metres freestyle, 100 metres freestyle and 200 metres freestyle.

Hyderabad: Advaith Anand Madhogaria, a student of CP 5 at Gitanjali Primary School, participated in the swimming competition organised by Hyderabad Swimming Federation recently and came out with flying colours. Advaith won three bronze medals in 50 metres freestyle, 100 metres freestyle and 200 metres freestyle.

Advaith has been learning swimming at the Gachibowli Stadium under his coach Ayush Yadav for the last two years and has been a part of the Gachibowli Stadium swimming team. Due to the lockdown, it was kept on hold but Advaith re-started his practice in August and within two months of practice he bagged three bronze medals, the school said adding that Advaith’s dream and aim is to achieve gold in Olympics for India.
