Gitopadesh Summit draws over 2,500 Telangana students to Kanha Shanti Vanam
Over 2,500 students from Telangana and children from 30 schools across India joined the third Gitopadesh Summit at Kanha Shanti Vanam. The event featured sloka recitation, talks, cultural programmes and the finale of the Global Sloka Competition with 5,000 participants worldwide.

Hyderabad: Over 2500 students from Telangana and more from 30 schools from around India participated in the annual Gitopadesh Summit in its third edition held at Kanha Shanti Vanam – the headquarters of Heartfulness in the outskirts of Hyderabad, on Saturday.
The colourful programme involved Sloka Recitation, Storytelling, Poster-making activities for children, Insightful Talks by eminent speakers, Panel discussions and cultural extravaganza. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and Revered Daaji – Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, participated.
The annual summit attracts participants from all around India, from participants as young as five to adults. The purpose of the summit is to impart timeless wisdom of Bhagwad Gita and foster inner peace, resilience and ethical living.
The event also witnessed the culmination of Global Sloka Competition where in which 5000 children across world from about 150 schools participated. The finalists of the competition were awarded during the summit at Kanha Shanti Vanam.
