Glukem Biocare company adopts mugger crocodiles at Hyderabad zoo
Glukem Biocare Private Limited, Hyderabad, has adopted two mugger crocodiles at Nehru Zoological Park for a year as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts. The zoo, which houses four species of crocodiles, continues to encourage public participation in its animal adoption scheme.

Hyderabad: In a gesture towards wildlife conservation, Glukem Biocare Private Limited, Hyderabad, adopted two mugger crocodiles for a period of one year at Nehru Zoological Park here on Saturday.
Glukem Biocare director Rakesh Chinnala, along with his American delegates Philip, Shyam and MD Sushantha Hazra, visited the zoo and presented a cheque of Rs one lakh to zoo curator J Vasantha.
Rakesh appreciated the zoo for its upkeep and successful breeding programmes that were carried out in the recent past.
Earlier, Rakesh adopted one panther for a period of one year. The zoo is home to four species of crocodiles namely Mugger, Long Snouted, Siamese crocodile and saltwater crocodiles.
The curator appealed to people to donate for the animal adoption scheme or through CSR activity.
