GMR Aerospace park welcomes FTG’s first manufacturing unit in India
Firan Technology Group has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in India at GMR Aerospace & Industrial Park in Hyderabad. The unit will produce advanced avionics and cockpit interface electronics, strengthening India's role in the global aerospace manufacturing and defence supply chain.

Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited (GHASL), a 100 per cent subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL), announced the launch of FTG’s (Firan Technology Group Corporation) first manufacturing facility in India at the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park, Hyderabad.
The inauguration was attended by senior Government representatives and leadership from GMR & FTG, marking a significant milestone in strengthening India’s position in the global aerospace manufacturing value chain, a press release said.
FTG’s entry into India represents its expansion into its fourth global manufacturing geography, following Canada, the United States, and China.
The newly launched facility will focus on the production of advanced avionics and cockpit interface electronics, supporting global aerospace and defence programmes.
Developed as a customised Built-to-Suit (BTS) facility, the unit reflects GMR’s proven capability to design, engineer, and deliver world-class industrial infrastructure aligned with stringent global OEM standards.
Located within the 277-acre GMR Aerospace & Industrial Park, the facility benefits from integration into one of India’s most comprehensive airport-led industrial ecosystems.
Speaking on the occasion, Aman Kapoor, CEO, GMR Airport Land Development, said, “This partnership reflects the growing confidence of global OEMs in India and in GMR’s ability to deliver customised, world-class infrastructure”.
