Hyderabad: The Telangana Tourism department is organising Kakatiya Heritage Tour every weekend.
The two-day package tour covers Bhongir Fort, darshan of Narsimha Swamy at Yadagirigutta temple, Kolanupaka Jain Temple, which is one of the significant Jain temples in South India built centuries ago, and archaeological site museum, Thousand Pillar Temple, Bhadrakali Temple, and Warangal Fort.
The next destination on the itinerary is Laknavaram Lake, which is a sprawling lake surrounded by beautiful green hillocks, lush green islands along with the expansive tank, followed by a hanging bridge and much more for tourists delight at the picturesque lake.
The department operates a restaurant and boating facility, which attracts hordes of tourists to the place, which is soul-soothing. With this tour, you can also visit Ramappa Temple, which is located 77 km from Warangal city that had once served as the capital of the Kakatiya Empire.
The package price (Adult: Rs 3,349 and child: Rs 2,679) doesn’t include food, entry, and boating tickets. The service will be starting from Hyderabad.
