Gold chain snatched near CM’s residence in Jubilee Hills

A 27-year-old software engineer was robbed of her gold chain by two scooter-borne assailants, including a woman, near Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s residence in Jubilee Hills on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old woman was robbed of her gold chain by two unidentified persons riding a scooter, just a short distance from the residence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in Jubilee Hills on Tuesday.

The complainant, Manasa, a native of Kadapa, is currently staying in a hostel in Madhapur and works as a software engineer at a private firm.

The incident occurred when she was walking towards her office, when a man riding a scooter approached her and suddenly slowed down.

The woman seated on the pillion allegedly snatched the gold chain from Manasa’s neck. The duo then fled the spot before Manasa could realise or react.

The Jubilee Hills police are investigating. They are examining surveillance camera footage from the surrounding area to identify the susp ects.
