Manjeera Pipeline Burst: Water restored in Manikonda within 24 Hours
The Hyderabad water board replaced the damaged Manjeera pipeline on a war-footing and restored supply to Manikonda locality by Wednesday morning.

Hyderabad: Water supply was restored in the Manikonda area in the early hours of Wednesday after a Manjeera water pipeline burst on Tuesday at around 3 am, affecting several areas with no water supply.
HMWSSB Chief General Manager Rajasekhar Reddy told ‘Telangana Today‘ that the damaged water pipeline was replaced on a war-footing and water supply was restored within 24 hours.
Several areas including Manikonda, Gandipet, Kokapet, Manchirevula, Narsingi, Puppalaguda, Khanapur, and Shaikpet service reservoirs, were severely affected due to the pipeline burst in the early hours yesterday.
The official said that within another three hours, all the areas would get water supply and, until then, the water board would supply water through mobile tankers.
