Karimnagar: For the 1974–75 SSC batch of CSI High School in the town, Sunday felt less like a reunion and more like stepping briefly into the past. Former classmates, now scattered across places and decades, returned to their alma mater with the same warmth that once filled their classrooms.
What began as a 50th anniversary gathering soon turned into a gentle flood of memories. The former students, both boys and girls, slipped easily into conversations that echoed their school days, revisiting stories that had lived on in their minds long after the bell had last rung.
The function hall was alive with laughter, nostalgia and familiar camaraderie, as though time had decided to pause and let them relive their youth. Friends who had long settled into the routines of life, many already retired, found themselves remembering forgotten anecdotes, shared mischief and long-ago ambitions. Some arrived with their grandchildren along.
Retired teachers Rangachari, Dhanraj, Mohan Rao and Devavaram were special guests at the nostalgic meet. They were felicitated by the batch, who sought their blessings and acknowledged the role they played in shaping young lives five decades ago.
The reunion was facilitated and coordinated by N Narotham Reddy, Kantha Rao and Rajamouli, who ensured the milestone celebration carried both emotion and warmth.
