Two killed in separate road accidents in Nirmal, Asifabad
Two people died in separate road accidents in Nirmal and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts on Saturday night. Purasthu Sai Charan and Sidam Bheemram lost their lives in two-wheeler and auto-rickshaw mishaps, while a police constable succumbed to earlier injuries.
Nirmal/Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Nirmal and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts on Saturday night.
In the first incident, Purasthu Sai Charan (22) died on the spot after sustaining severe head injuries when the two-wheeler he was travelling on hit a divider at Doctors’ Lane in Nirmal town at around 9 pm. He was preparing to pursue higher studies abroad and had completed a course related to the Indian Navy. He was the son of a journalist working with a prominent vernacular daily.
In the second incident, Sidam Bheemram (53) suffered critical injuries when the auto-rickshaw in which he was travelling overturned at Limbuguda village in Sirpur (T) mandal on Saturday evening, leading to his instant death. Bheemram, a resident of Medipalli village, was returning from a weekly bazaar at the time. The driver of the three-wheeler fled after the accident.
Meanwhile, police constable Kumram Ramu (35), who sustained grievous injuries when an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle at Kairigaon village in Rebbena mandal on November 13, died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad on Saturday. He was a native of Ginnedhari village in Tiryani mandal.
