Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla calls for stronger higher education reforms in Telangana
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla reviewed higher education reforms in Telangana and called for stronger academic standards, research, innovation, and employability outcomes. He announced an upcoming detailed review meeting with Vice-Chancellors to address institutional, academic, and infrastructure-related challenges.

Hyderabad: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, who is also chancellor of the State universities, emphasised the need for universities to further strengthen academic standards, research productivity, innovation, governance reforms, student employability, institutional accountability, and global collaborations to position Telangana as a leading higher education destination in the country.
Governor, who reviewed higher education reforms with TGCHE Chairman Prof V Balakista Reddy here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Governor reviewed the various academic reforms, skill development initiatives, employability enhancement programmes, digital learning interventions, curriculum modernisation efforts, innovation ecosystems, and industry-linked programmes being undertaken by TGCHE and the State universities.
The Governor said a review meeting with the Vice Chancellors of State universities, along with TGCHE, will be conducted shortly to discuss university-specific academic, administrative, infrastructure, faculty, examination, accreditation, research, financial, and student welfare issues for effective policy-level interventions and institutional strengthening.
