KARIMNAGAR: To reduce paperwork and enhance transparency in sanctioning leaves to employees, the district administration has come up with an innovative idea and developed a software portal for the purpose.

Hereafter, officials and employees working in different government departments can apply for leave on the ‘Leave Management Portal’.

Higher officials will sanction leave by going through the applications online. The portal was developed by a software company Team India.

The company team led by its CEO Chaitanya handed over the portal software to Collector Pamela Satpathy on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said they had developed the portal to reduce paperwork and enhance transparency in the sanction of leaves.
