Govt nursing college principal suspended over dereliction of duty in Asifabad
The principal of the Government Nursing College was suspended for dereliction of duty and unauthorised absence. An inquiry found she allegedly misused students for personal work and caused inconvenience by installing CCTV cameras in the hostel.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The principal of the Government Nursing College here was placed under suspension on Monday for dereliction of duty and remaining absent without prior permission. Collector K Haritha issued orders to this effect.
According to the order, the principal, G Vinoda, was suspended for negligence in administering the college and for skipping legitimate duties since January 29. She also left the headquarters without permission and failed to conduct classes even after the commencement of the academic year in December.
The Collector initiated action based on a report submitted by officials. The inquiry revealed that the principal allegedly forced nursing students to clean her house, attend to her personal work, feed her pets and take care of them. She also caused inconvenience to students by installing CCTV cameras in the hostel.
