Govt offices, schools, colleges to remain closed on September 25

Hyderabad: The State government has declared September 25 a closed holiday on account of the Ganesh idol immersion procession in Hyderabad.

All government offices, schools and colleges located in and around the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, as well as in Ranga Reddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts, will remain closed on the day.

Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju issued an order to this effect on Wednesday.

In lieu of the holiday on September 25, November 14, the second Saturday, will be a working day for all government offices, schools and colleges located in and around Hyderabad-Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts.
