Govt teacher suspended for abusing teachers, students in Mancherial
Government teacher Farida Banu was suspended in Chennur mandal for abusing students and colleagues, and assaulting a Panchayat secretary. The MEO took action after confirming allegations through an inquiry.
Mancherial: A government Hindi language teacher was placed under suspension for abusing colleagues and students, and beating Panchayat Raj secretary of Akkepalli village in Chennur mandal a few days back. An order to this effect was issued by mandal educational officer K Radhakrishna Murthy in Chennur on Saturday evening.
According to the order, the teacher Farida Banu was suspended for scolding her colleagues and students of the school before thrashing PS Siraj on July 16. It was unclear as to why she behaved in that manner in the school. However, Siraj lodged a complaint with the local police, while the colleagues brought her unruly behaviour to the notice of the MEO.
Radhakrishna conducted a probe into the allegations and found the teacher guilty. He initiated action against Farida Banu by suspending her from duties.
