Warangal Urban: Social activist and former chairperson, Child Welfare Committee (CWC), erstwhile Warangal district, Mandala Parashuramulu has urged the State  government to allot beds for Black Fungus patients at the MGM Hospital in Warangal.

In a letter addressed to District Collector,  Parashuramulu said: “We bring to your kind notice that in Warangal too, a few Black Fungus  cases have been reported, but the Director of Medical Education has issued orders for allotment of 1,500 beds for Black Fungus treatment only in some district hospitals including Karimnagar, Khammam and Nizamabad district.

Surprisingly, the government has not included the  MGM Hospital in the list. Hence, I request your good authority to  provide a few beds for Black Fungus treatment in MGM Hospital for the needy patients.”
