Driven by a deep passion to start a business, Rajendra Prasad Regonda set up T Snacks at his residence over a year ago after quitting his well-paying job.

“I worked as a techie for 25 years and later I quit since I wanted to try my hand at business. That’s when I started T Snacks along with my wife Sujatha Regonda. My idea was to try to keep people away from junk food by offering healthy and traditional snacks that remind people of the homely flavor. Authenticity and hygiene is our top priority with no trace of artificial flavours and colours,” says Rajendra Prasad, a native of Jagtial.

He runs T Snacks at Pragathi Nagar in Hyderabad with 10 employees, mostly women. The snacks are full of nutrition with no compromise on taste. Apart from snacks, the brand also sells podis, sweets and pickles as well.

Go green appalu and beetroot appalu are some of the crowd favourites. He receives orders from abroad as well, and the demand is more during festivals.
