Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao said graduates, educated youth and unemployed people were angry with the Congress government which failed to implement its electoral promises. He said they would teach the ruling Congress a fitting lesson in the ensuing graduate MLC elections.
He accused the Congress of betraying students and unemployed youth by failing to fulfil its promises, delaying recruitment notifications and allowing employment opportunities to decline. He said the Congress government had pushed the education sector into crisis.
In a party review meeting with BRS MLAs and senior leaders from the erstwhile Warangal district at Telangana Bhavan on Friday, Rama Rao discussed the party’s preparations for the elections. He asked party leaders and workers to prioritise voter registration and ensure that every eligible graduate was enrolled so they could exercise their franchise.
Calling for coordinated efforts, he urged party cadres to work together to secure the BRS victory in the elections.
