Grand Janmashtami Celebrations Sweep Hare Krishna Golden Temple
Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with devotional fervour at Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, with special sevas, abhishekams, cultural exhibits and a midnight Maha Mangala Arati. Festivities were also held at Hare Krishna Heritage Tower in Kokapet

Hyderabad: Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival was celebrated at Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills with Lord Sri Krishna giving darshan to devotees in different forms as Sri Radha Govinda, Sri Godha Krishna, Sri Laddu Gopal, and Sri Makhan Krishna.
The celebrations began with Shodashopachara Seva and an enchanting Shringara Arati marked the beginning of Darshan followed by Jhulan. Sri Sudharshana Narasimha homa was performed. The festivities included seven elaborate abhishekams throughout the day apart from ‘Krishna Anugraha Sandhya Abhisheka’.

of Lord Krishna’s appearance.
Sveral thematic cultural exhibits were displayed, showcasing Hare Krishna Movement’s initiatives like Hare Krishna challenge, Krishna kids, Japa Club, Aikya Vidya, among others. Krishna Avirbhava Abhishekam continued till mid-night and a Maha Mangala Arati at midnight was offered signifying the auspicious appearance of the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna in this material world.
Meanwhile, parallel to the Banjara Hills celebrations, Grand Sri Krishna Janmashtami festivities also unfolded at the newly envisioned Hare Krishna Heritage Tower in Narsingi, Kokapet.
