Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with devotional fervour at Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, with special sevas, abhishekams, cultural exhibits and a midnight Maha Mangala Arati. Festivities were also held at Hare Krishna Heritage Tower in Kokapet
Deity of Srila Prabhupada was offered an elaborate abhisheka, pushpavrishti (showering of flowers), a grand arati and auspicious paraphernalia accompanied by sacred chants
"We have planned the Brahmotsavams celebrations for six days between November 24 and November 29. Grand arrangements are currently underway, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu, president, Hare Krishna Movement," on Friday said.
