Grant funds for Anna Sagar tank development: Andole MLA — Finance Minister T Harish Rao is examining the Anna Sagar tank bund near Jogipet in Sangareddy district on Saturday.

Sangareddy: Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi urged Finance Minister T Harish Rao to grant funds to develop Anna Sagar tank into a recreation spot on the outskirts of Andole-Jogipet town. The Finance Minister, who was on his way to Shankarampet to participate in another programme, along with the Andole MLA, made a visit to Anna Sagar tank on Saturday evening.

Kranthi Kiran also appealed to the Minister to grant funds to build a railing along with the tank, which is located close to the busy NH-161, to prevent the accidents as an immediate measure. Harish Rao promised that they would examine his appeal to grant the necessary funds for the development of the Andole-Jogipet Municipality.
