Hyderabad: Granules India, a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company based in Hyderabad, appointed Sucharita Rao Palepu as non-executive independent director on the Board of the company with immediate effect.
Sucharita brings with her experience of two decades in IT and financial services. She is currently a strategic advisor specialising in organization & HR transformation initiatives, prior to which, she was HR global head at Tech Mahindra.
Commenting on the appointment, Dr Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, CMD, Granules India said, “Her experience in organisation and HR transformation initiatives and commercial orientation will be an added asset for us.”
Over her career, Sucharita was instrumental in initiating several significant transformation programmes and large-scale HR interventions, with a proven track record of delivering change in a global, diverse, multi-cultural and complex environment. She was awarded the Exemplary Woman in Leader Award (APAC) in HR Branding Awards 2015-16.
